Thanks Charan, I haven't had a chance to evaluate the tool fully so my apologies for not inserting a screen shot yet. I use wrting frames/visual thinking diagrams quite a bit and the opportunity to have an interactive and collaborative template for students would be very welcome. Most othe tools simply allow you to print a paper version of the template or are very complicated to use.

ive just made a lesson on how to import a map in google earth into the students sites

Good to hear that your having some success, it would really make some secondary teachers sit up and take notice if they realised that this was what children are doing in primary schools. I have had some issues introducing tools such as goanimate because the content of the site is not filtered. I see youlike Myths and Legends, I added a couple of new tools to the animation and electronic writing links which may be of interest

Hi, I simply uploaded my video to screencast.com. Click on share and copy the embed code. On Wetpaint you then click on the 'other widget' option in the editing mode and paste in the code...simple as that. It may be that whatever website or wiki you are tring to embed into doesn't accept embedding of objects in this manner. Is this any help?

Youtube can be problematic as many teachers cannot access it at school. I am interested primarily in sites that provide subject content for schools although I suppose pupils could access from home if there was a relevant video

Thanks Tony, I have come across it. I have another 100 or so sites bookmarked toput on and many of them are subject specific. Hi, could you tell me which one? I had a quick look at all the slideshows on the Presentation/slideshow link and they appear all to be working. It is possible that you may need to update your Flash in order to see some of the sites.

Always worth remembering that the sites are often launched in a Beta version and therefore in a process of continual development. Therefore always go back and have a look if you found one that you liked the look of but just didn't work properly. I came across Yola on another site recently so may add in the future.
